In-home care for pets in Reno—simple, clear, and tailored to your routine

Start with a meet-and-greet

When you’re away, you shouldn’t have to wonder whether your pets are comfortable, cared for, and sticking to the routine they know. My services are designed to keep things familiar for your pets (and easy for you): I come to your home, follow your instructions, and build a visit schedule that fits your pet’s needs.

This page walks you through what I offer, what a typical visit looks like, and the scheduling options I can provide—so you can quickly tell whether we’re a great fit.

Enrollment meeting (complimentary)

Before I take on any new client, we’ll meet in your home so I can get to know you and your pets, and ensure we’re a great fit for one another. Each new client receives one complimentary enrollment meeting.

A couple important notes to help you prepare:

  • If additional visits are needed to review updates to your pet’s routine or home care, they can be scheduled at the standard 30-minute visit rate.
  • Please have an up-to-date copy of your pet’s rabies certificate available at the meeting. Nevada law requires all dogs and cats over 12 weeks of age to be vaccinated for rabies, including indoor-only cats.

Drop-in pet sitting visits

Drop-in visits are the heart of what I do. I stop by at the times we plan, care for your pets based on their normal routine, and make sure their essential needs are covered while you’re away.

Because every household is different, I’ll ask questions during enrollment about feeding routines, potty/walk needs, and anything else you want handled during visits—then we’ll choose the visit length and frequency that best matches your pets.

Quick Visit (15 minutes)

This is a quick visit designed for pets needing basic care rather than a full pet sitting visit. It’s ideal for a midday or bedtime potty break, a quick feeding, fresh water, or other simple care needs.

This visit works best as an additional visit alongside longer scheduled visits and for pets whose needs can comfortably be completed within 15 minutes.

Standard visit (30 minutes)

If you want a more complete check-in, a 30-minute visit gives us breathing room for the essentials and a calmer pace—especially helpful for pets who prefer a little more time to warm up, eat slowly, or just get settled with someone they know.

(If you need an additional enrollment-style check-in later to review updates to your routine or home care, those are scheduled at the standard 30-minute visit rate.)

Pick a daily rhythm

Visit schedules & timing windows

Choosing the right schedule matters. Some pets do great with a morning and evening visit; others need a midday visit, and some households benefit from more frequent check-ins.

Here are the scheduling patterns I offer and the typical timing windows:

  • 2 visits per day: Morning 7–10 AM | Evening 4–7 PM
  • 3 visits per day: Morning 7–10 AM | Midday 11 AM–2 PM | Evening 5–8 PM
  • 4 visits per day: Morning 7–9 AM | Midday 11 AM–1 PM | Late afternoon 3–5 PM | Evening 7–9 PM

Four visits per day (limited availability)

Four visits per day are available on a very limited basis and are subject to availability. Because this schedule requires visits to be spaced throughout the entire day, I may not be able to accommodate four-visit schedules during busy periods, holidays, or when my schedule is already committed to other clients.

If you think you’ll need four visits per day, tell me early—this is the kind of schedule that works best when we can plan ahead.

Important fit notes (please read)

I want your pets to be safe and comfortable—and I also want to be upfront about what I can and can’t provide.

At this time, I’m unable to care for dogs who require crating. If your dog must be crated overnight, I recommend choosing a sitter who can stay in your home.

Ready to get started?

If you’re in Reno and think my drop-in visit style sounds like the right match for your pets, the next step is to schedule your complimentary enrollment meeting. Reach out and tell me a little about your pets (species, ages, routines, and the general dates you need help), and I’ll let you know what scheduling options are available.
